Medilis super instructions for use
Medilis super instructions for use

Hello! I will never forget the day when I acquired my site. At first glance, I liked everything, so without much thought, the purchase transaction was closed.

After the acquisition, I immediately left, and the next visit there greatly upset me.

It turned out that the house had bugs and cockroaches. But there was no time to lose heart, especially since I had in reserve an effective remedy against such parasites. The problem was quickly fixed. Now I will describe in detail the instructions for use Medilis Super, with which I led my fight.

Medilis Super

Analogs There are no analogues based on the same substance, but there are other remedies for head lice:

  • Veda;
  • Medifox;
  • To here;
  • Pair Plus;
  • Parasidosis;
  • Paranit;
  • Full Marx;
  • Hellebore water.

Instructions for use

Medilis super is a modern insecticaricidal drug with a wide spectrum of action. The product is available in the form of an emulsion, which is diluted with water.

Important!
It is positioned as an alternative to permethrin, to which lice, ticks and other insects develop resistance.

The drug is used in the following cases:

  • treatment of head and pubic lice;
  • the destruction of clothes lice and scabies mites;
  • treatment of territories from ixodid ticks;
  • disinfection of premises from lice and scabies mites;
  • disinfection from bedbugs, cockroaches, fleas, ants, rat ticks, wasps, hornets, skin-eaters, silverfish, larvae and adults of flies and mosquitoes in natural stations and closed reservoirs.

Dosage and administration

Emulsion Medilis super is used to prepare a solution. The proportions are as follows: 1 ml of the drug per 83 ml of water.

Head and pubic lice treatment. The prepared solution should be evenly distributed over wet hair and affected areas of the body using a cotton swab or cotton pad.

The drug must be held on the hair for 20 minutes. During this time, the parasites will be completely destroyed. After 20 minutes, wash your hair with water first, then with soap. After this, it is recommended to rinse the hair again using a 4.5% vinegar solution (9% vinegar and water in equal proportions).

After washing, you need to carefully comb the hair with a comb with frequent teeth to remove the remnants of nits and lice. If necessary, the procedure can be repeated after a week.

Processing underwear from lice and ticks. To destroy parasites, soak linen in an aqueous emulsion for 20 minutes. Then you can leave things for another 1 hour in a hot soapy soda solution. It is prepared as follows: 5 g of laundry soap and 20 g of soda ash are dissolved in 1 liter of water. In the end, things should be washed in the usual way.

Such treatment of linen is recommended when the appearance of clothes lice, as well as to prevent re-infection after getting rid of head lice.

Advice!
Contraindications: Medilis plus should not be used by minors, as well as people with pesticide intolerance. Pregnancy and lactation.

The use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is unacceptable.

Overdose

When applying Medilis super it is important to strictly follow the instructions and not exceed the recommended dosages. Otherwise, intoxication may develop. It is accompanied by characteristic symptoms:

  • nausea;
  • vomiting
  • abdominal pain;
  • increased salivation;
  • bad taste in the mouth;
  • headache;
  • general malaise.

The victim must go into a room with good ventilation or go outside. He should also take an adsorbent - for example, activated carbon, and rinse his mouth with a 2% soda solution. It is advisable to immediately consult a doctor.

Side effects

With external use of the drug, it is possible to develop allergic reactions - redness and rashes on the skin, swelling. Local reactions are also not excluded - increased itching, burning, paresthesia and erythematous rashes.

Composition: The preparation contains 24% fenthion and synergistic substances.

Pharmacology and pharmacokinetics

The active substance of the drug is fenthion. This component is a modern alternative to permethrin, which is losing ground as insects develop resistance to it. The synergists that make up the emulsion enhance the action of fenthion, but they themselves remain inactive.

The drug penetrates the digestive system of parasites and poisons them in this way. Even with a single use, the product demonstrates effectiveness, since it has a long-lasting effect.

Medilis is super effective at killing a large number of parasites, including lice, scabies, fleas, cockroaches, bugs, ants, larvae and adult flies, mosquito larvae, hornets and others.

Precautionary measures

When processing the premises should take care of personal protective equipment. Wear protective clothing, a respirator, and goggles.

Attention!
If the drug accidentally enters the respiratory tract, you need to open the windows to ensure a rush of fresh air into the room, or to bring the victim out into the street. You should also rinse your mouth and nose with a solution of soda.

If the drug accidentally enters the mucous membranes, it is necessary to rinse them with water and treat with a solution of soda.

Shelf life. The shelf life of the emulsion is 5 years. The prepared solution can be used within 6 hours.

Storage conditions. Store the drug at a temperature not exceeding +30 degrees in a tightly closed package. Do not leave it in sight of children.

Terms of sale. Over the counter.

Reviews

Inga, Reutov. I moved to a new school, and there I caught lice. My head began to itch a lot, and it was also very embarrassing - I was constantly picking my hair, and I was afraid that someone would see these parasites. Mom asked people and bought Medilis super.

We prepared a solution, for this only 1 ml of the drug was needed. Then I applied it to my wet hair, held it for about 20 minutes. I heard that such products cause a burning sensation, but I didn’t feel anything like that. Only one procedure was enough for me. Then I just combed the lice out of my hair, they no longer appeared.

Stepan. Bedbugs started at home, so I had to urgently come up with something. For several days in a row, I found on myself some red, itchy spots. Then I realized that these are bedbugs. I immediately went to the store and chose Medilis super.

I prepared the solution, poured it into the spray bottle and processed the sofa, and at the same time all the cracks and baseboards in the room. In the morning the bodies of bedbugs were lying on the floor, I did not see live insects. Then I wiped the floor, sofa and all furniture with a solution of soap and soda.

2 months have passed, but I do not observe any parasites. The emulsion consumption is small, there is still a lot left.The other day, I plan to once again process the room and in general the entire apartment for prevention. After that, I hope I will never need this tool again.

The use of Medilis - Super

Medilis - Super is used in domestic, industrial premises, medical institutions, in transport, in natural conditions in order to destroy parasites.

Destruction of head and pubic lice

Dilute one ampoule with a volume of 1 ml in 83 ml of water to obtain a 0.2% DV aqueous emulsion. Apply an aqueous emulsion with a swab to the moistened hair of the head and other parts of the body (if infected with pubic lice).

Attention!
20 minutes after application, rinse off the product with running water from the treated parts of the body, then wash them in the usual way using baby soap or shampoo.

Rinse your hair with a 4.5% aqueous solution of table vinegar (9% table vinegar diluted with warm water in a 1: 1 ratio), comb through the hair with a frequent comb to remove dead insects and nits.

With a high number of head lice, hats and pillows are treated. The consumption rate of a working aqueous emulsion of the product is from 30 to 100 ml, depending on the degree of infection with lice, the length and density of hair.

If necessary, treatment must be repeated after 7-10 days, but not more than two treatments per month.

The elimination of body lice

In case of clothes lice and a high number of lice, disinsection of clothes and the patient is carried out. The destruction of insects on the human body and the disinsection of linen, clothes, other things and objects infected with lice must be carried out simultaneously with all people living or staying together to avoid re-infection.

After treating people infected with lice, they need to take a shower with a head wash, change their clothes and bedding, which the patient used.

Underwear, bedding and other items to be washed are soaked in an aqueous emulsion for 20 minutes. The consumption rate of 0.2% water emulsion per set of underwear is 2.5 l or 4.5 l per set of bed linen, or 1 kg of dry clothes.

After disinsection, the clothes are thoroughly rinsed and soaked for 1 hour in a hot (80-850C) soap-soda solution (1 tablespoon of soda ash and 5 g of laundry soap per 1 liter of water), after which they are washed in the usual way. Machine washable.

Outerwear, bedding, and other items that cannot be washed are irrigated with 0.2% water emulsion and are applied to the entire surface of the items being processed. Blankets, pillows, mattresses and clothes are double-sided. Particular attention is paid to the processing of seams and creases on the inside of clothes.

Important!
The consumption rate for a dress made of wool is 30-50 ml; on a set of bedding (mattress, blanket) - 400 ml; on a set of clothes (coat, jacket, pants, hat) - 350 ml.

Processed things are used only after drying and thorough ventilation in the open air during the day.

The effectiveness of the measures taken is monitored by the person responsible for these measures by visual inspection of parts of the human body (if necessary, comb the hair of the head with a frequent comb to comb out lice), underwear, clothes, and other things and objects.

The procedure and terms for monitoring the foci of lice was established by Order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation No. 342 of November 26, 1998, "On Strengthening Measures for the Prevention of Epidemic Typhus and the Fight Against Pediculosis."

Extermination of scabies mites

The organization and conduct of measures for the prevention of scabies are regulated by the industry standard OST 91500.11.0003-2003, the Protocol for the management of patients. Scabies. Approved Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Order No. 162 of April 24, 2003

Decontamination of linen, clothes and other things and objects infected with scabies mites must be carried out simultaneously with all people living or living together to avoid re-infection.

All items infected with scabies mites that cannot be handled locally are seized, packaged in kraft, or in plastic, oilcloth or linen bags, impregnated with a product authorized for this purpose.

Items to be washed are packed separately from items not to be washed. Decontamination is carried out before sending laundry to the laundry.

Pest control

Treatment with 0.2% aqueous emulsion is carried out in foci of lice and scabies, as well as in places of examination and transportation of patients with head lice and scabies (reception departments of healthcare facilities, isolation wards, sanitary inspection rooms, sanitary and other vehicles after delivery of the patient, etc.).

They process all objects with which the patient could come into contact or things infected with parasites (floor, chairs, couches and other objects) were in contact.

The floor is irrigated from spraying equipment such as “Quasar”, “Dewdrops” and others. Other surfaces are wiped with a rag moistened with 0.2% aqueous emulsion.

Advice!
The consumption rate of the working aqueous emulsion is 30-50 ml per 1 ml, depending on the type of surface (absorbent or non-absorbent).

Room treatment is carried out daily after the end of the reception of patients in the absence of people.Not earlier than 20 minutes after treatment, the room is ventilated for 30 minutes and cleaned in the usual way with the addition of soda ash (1 tablespoon per 1 liter of water). Cleaning can be done the next day before starting to receive patients.

Destruction of arthropods at various sites

DESTRUCTION OF SYNTHROPIC COCKTAILS. Use 0.4% (DW) working water emulsion at a rate of 50 ml / m2 on non-absorbent surfaces and 100 ml / m2 on absorbent surfaces.

The habitats of cockroaches and the ways of their penetration into the room are processed: cracks along the baseboards and sections of walls and floors that come to them, along pipes of water supply and sewer systems, cracks in the walls, behind door frames, etc .; behind furnishings (cupboards, tables, shelves, shelving) from the back.

Processing is carried out simultaneously in all rooms where cockroaches are found. With a large population of insects, adjacent rooms are processed to protect them from being populated by cockroaches. They carry out the processing of waste bins and garbage chutes.

Dead and paralyzed insects are systematically swept away and destroyed (burned, lowered into the sewer), since the accumulation of the remains of cockroaches may lead to the development of allergic reactions in people in treated rooms. Repeated processing is carried out according to entomological indications.

DESTRUCTION OF BEDS. Use 0.1-0.2% (DW) aqueous emulsion at a rate of 50 ml / m2, regardless of the type of surface to be treated (a residual effect of up to 3 months is ensured).

Attention!
If the number of bugs is insignificant, 0.05% (by DW) water emulsion is used with a consumption rate of 50 ml / m2 on a non-absorbent surface and 100 ml / m2 on an absorbent one (the duration of the residual effect is up to 1.5 months).

With a small population of rooms, bed bugs process only their habitats (beds, sofas, the opposite side of near-carpeted carpets, etc.), with a large population - habitats and possible resettlement (cracks along baseboards, borders, places for wallpaper to go around, around door and window openings , ventilation grills, cracks in the walls of furniture, carpets and paintings on the reverse side, dry plaster when facing walls).

With a large number of bugs or in the case of prevalence in the treated room surfaces that absorb moisture well (plywood, unpainted wood, fabrics), the working concentration can be doubled. Repeated processing is carried out according to entomological indications.

DESTRUCTION OF BLAS. Use 0.05-0.1% (DW) water emulsion at a rate of flow of 50 ml / m2, regardless of the type of surface to be treated (a residual effect of up to 3 months is ensured).

With a small number of fleas, a 0.05% water emulsion is used at an application rate of 50 ml / m2 on a non-absorbent surface and 100 ml / m2 on an absorbent one (the duration of the residual effect is up to 1.5 months).

They process the surface of the floor, cracks behind the skirting boards, walls to a height of 1 m, the reverse sides of carpets, walkways, etc.

When processing cluttered cellars, they are preliminarily, if possible, cleaned of debris, and then thoroughly irrigated. With a large number of fleas and the prevalence of well-absorbing surfaces (concrete, earthen floor), you can double the consumption of the working emulsion and / or its concentration.

First, disinsection of premises occupied by fleas is carried out, then (no later than 3 days) - deratization. Repeated processing is carried out according to entomological indications,

Important!
When processing the inspection ditches and inclines of the subway escalators, 0.1% aqueous emulsion is used at a flow rate of 100 ml / m2.

DESTRUCTION OF ANTS. Use 0.05-0.10% (DW) of a working aqueous emulsion at a flow rate of 50 ml / m2, regardless of the type of surface to be treated.

To combat working individuals of gingerbread house and other species of ants, which often penetrate into the premises, they process surfaces along the paths of movement of insects, in places of their accumulation. Repeated processing is carried out on entomological indications.

DESTRUCTION OF RAT MITS. Use a 0.5% (DW) aqueous emulsion at a flow rate of 50 ml / m2.

The places of penetration and movement of rodents in the room are irrigated - manholes, pipes of various communications, baseboards, walls and floors along them, as well as places of possible accumulation of mites - heated sections of walls and floors near heating appliances and thermal communications, the lower part of furniture, work tables that process the whole, including the boxes in them (from the outside).

In the presence of false coverings behind which rodents can move, the ceiling and walls are also subject to processing. First of all, they decontaminate the rooms inhabited by ticks, then (no later than 3 days) - deratization.

Re-processing is carried out according to indications, but not earlier than 7 days after the first.

Advice!
DESTRUCTION OF FLIES. To destroy the imago of indoor or other types of flies in the premises, 0.05-0.10% (DV) is used as an aqueous emulsion that irrigates the landing sites of flies in residential and industrial premises: glass and window frames, door frames, etc.

In case of severe contamination of the premises, a large number of flies, as well as in order to obtain a long residual effect, 0.1% (in terms of DW) water emulsion should be used.

For processing the external walls of buildings, as well as garbage chambers, sand bore installations, cesspools, garbage bins, etc. use 0.1% (DV) aqueous emulsion.

The rate of flow of the emulsion is 100 ml / m2. Repeated treatments are carried out when winged flies appear in the room.

To destroy the larvae of flies, the places of their hatching are treated with an interval of 1 time every 20-30 days: liquid waste in the cesspools of latrines and cesspools - 0.1% (DW) with an aqueous emulsion at a flow rate of 0.5 l per 1 m2 of substrate surface; solid waste (household garbage) - 0.05% (DW) with an aqueous emulsion at a consumption rate of 1-3 liters per 1 m2 of substrate surface with a waste thickness of 50 cm and 3-6 l with a thickness of more than 50 cm.

DESTRUCTION OF OS AND HORSE. In settlements to control the number of foragers and hornets, the edges of garbage containers are treated with 0.1% (DW) with an aqueous emulsion at a flow rate of 100 to 200 ml / m2.

Treatments during the active flight of wasps and hornets are carried out regularly 1 time per week (after rain, treatments are repeated, since the insecticide is washed off from the surfaces).

To destroy the wasp nests, 0.1% (DV) water emulsion is used at a flow rate of 100-200 ml / m2, which is sprayed using a sprayer with a long boom. Processing nests is carried out after sunset, at dusk or in the early morning, when working individuals are in the nest.

Important!
Individual protective clothing should be used that covers well the head, neck, hands (a raincoat or jacket made of water-repellent fabric with a hood), clothes should not be brightly colored, perfumes should not be used.

Nests located openly in accessible places (on terraces and balconies, in gazebos; under eaves of roofs, cornices, platbands; under roof coverings of slate, tile, roofing material, wood), as well as inside outbuildings (sheds, garages, attics, street toilets, etc.) are processed directly, directing the stream from the sprayer into the tap hole.

The nests located hidden outside direct access (inside confined spaces under the roof, under the skin of walls, cladding and in crevices of houses, etc., in the ground, compost heap, drainpipe, etc.) are processed by directing the jet from the sprayer to the places of their intended location. (under the roof, under the wall sheathing), especially in the place of departure of wasps.

After the wasps fall out of the nest, it should be cut off, wrapped in paper or a plastic bag and burned.

Repeated processing of hidden nests is performed according to entomological indications, but not earlier than a week later.

To destroy scabies mites and lice, use 0.2% (DV) aqueous emulsion at a flow rate of 50 ml / m2.

The treatment is carried out in foci of head lice and scabies (including household ones), as well as in rooms where patients are examined with scabies and head lice (scabiosories, reception departments of health facilities, isolation wards, sanitary inspection rooms, etc.) and vehicles used to transport these patients .

Processing is subject to the floor, chairs, couches, door handles and other objects with which the patient or his things had contact. Do not handle people!

Advice!
The floor is irrigated from devices of the Quasar type. Other surfaces are wiped with a rag moistened with an aqueous emulsion.

Processing is carried out in the absence of people. Not earlier than after 20 minutes the room is cleaned in the usual way with the addition of soda ash (1 tablespoon per 1 liter of water). Cleaning can be done the next day before starting to receive patients.

Destruction of arthropods in HCI waste

The destruction of cockroaches. To exterminate cockroaches, 0.4% (DV) water emulsion is used at a flow rate of 100 ml / m2. Irrigate the surface of solid and food waste, waste bins, inter-container containers, in the summertime - sites around containers.

Extermination of flies. To destroy the imago of flies, 0.1% (DV) water emulsion is used at a flow rate of 100 ml / m2. Garbage bins, sandwich installations, cesspools, garbage chambers are processed.

For the destruction of eggs and larvae of flies, 0.1% (DV) water emulsion is used at a flow rate of 100 ml / m2; for surface treatment of liquid wastes - 0.05% (DW) water emulsion at a flow rate of 1 - 3 l / m2; for surface treatment of solid waste, the consumption rate is 1 - 3 l / m2 with a waste layer thickness of not more than 50 cm and 3 - 6 l / m2 with a waste layer thickness of more than 50 cm.

In the summer, the processing of inter-container containers and the areas around them is mandatory with a 0.1% aqueous emulsion of the product at a rate of consumption of 100 ml / m2 of surface.

Destruction of wasps. To reduce the number of foragers, the edges of garbage containers are treated with 0.1% (DW) water emulsion at a flow rate of 100 to 200 ml / m2. Treatments during the active flight of wasps are carried out regularly 1 time per week (after the rain, treatments are repeated, since the insecticide is washed off from the surfaces).

Destruction of mosquito larvae. For the destruction of mosquito larvae, 0.1% (DV) water emulsion is used at a flow rate of 50-100 ml / m2. They process the surface of water in temporary reservoirs (puddles) that may occur during irregular waste collection from containers.

Attention!
Destruction of fleas and rat ticks. For the destruction of fleas, 0.1% is used, rat ticks use 0.5% (DV) of an aqueous emulsion at a flow rate of 50-100 ml / m2. They treat the surface of solid and food waste, waste bins, inter-container containers, and in the summertime also areas around containers.

No later than 3 days after disinfestation, deratization measures should be taken to prevent the re-development of fleas and rat ticks.

Destruction of red house ants. Red house ants most often inhabit the waste of surgical departments and maternity hospitals containing blood, organs and tissues of patients.

The collected waste is treated with 0.05% (DW) of an aqueous emulsion at a flow rate of 50 ml / m2 of waste surface. Processing is carried out after the collection of waste into bags; the premises in which the waste was stored are also treated.

Destruction of lice and scabies mites. Upon receipt of patients infected with lice and scabies mites in the scabiosorium, the emergency rooms of the hospitals, isolation wards, sanitary inspection rooms, and if it is impossible to keep their clothes due to their poor physical condition, these clothes are packed in plastic or two-layer craft bags, sprayed with 0.2% ( by DV) with an aqueous emulsion and only after that they are thrown into containers.

Handling transport. It is recommended to handle the transport vehicles where HCW waste is taken out when the waste is infected with cockroaches, fly larvae - 0.1% (in the Far East) with an aqueous emulsion; ants, ticks, fleas - 0.5% (DV) with an aqueous emulsion at a flow rate of 50-100 ml / m2.

The fight against mosquitoes and other components of the midges

When planning and conducting treatments, they are guided by regulatory and methodological documents (SanPiN, Guidelines), which were put into effect in the Russian Federation in the established manner.

Important!
To select a strategy for controlling winged mosquitoes, the species composition of bloodsuckers should be established in order to determine the ratio of the number of endo- and exophilic species.

Antimaginal events begin from the moment the mass departure of the overwintered winged mosquitoes Culiseta, Suleh, Anopheles begins. To combat mosquitoes of the genus Ades, treatments begin during the period of their mass departure after the end of the development of preimaginal stages in water bodies.

The average time for treatment against mosquitoes flying out of wintering starts in the southern regions of the country in March, in the middle lane - in April, in the northern regions - May-June. Specific dates and locations of treatments are determined by entomologists.

When destroying mosquito larvae in breeding places in closed reservoirs (flooded basements of houses, underground utilities, underground tunnels), 0.01% (DW) of water emulsion is used in the amount of 10-30 ml per 1 m2 of water surface.

Before processing the water surface must be cleaned of debris and determine its area. In the basement, divided into separate compartments (sections), the water surface area is determined in each compartment and, accordingly, the necessary amount of funds is deposited.

Cellars, constantly flooded with water and which are the place of mass breeding of mosquitoes during the year, are treated according to entomological indications, which are determined by examining the water bodies every 10-15 days after treatment.

In open natural non-economic water bodies, treatments are carried out in the spring-summer period when mosquito larvae appear to prevent or reduce generation outbreaks.

Only the ground processing method is used, using 0.05-0.1% (DW) aqueous emulsions at a flow rate of 50 to 100 ml / m2, sprayed with coarse equipment.

Advice!
Non-economic non-flowing natural and artificial reservoirs of permanent and temporary existence are subject to treatment - swamps, wet meadows, puddles, hollows in trees, terrain depressions, lowland, floodplain, upland marshes, backwaters, reaches in small riverbeds that dry up in summer, reserves along roads, irrigators, digging pits, ditches, ditches, quarries, trenches, pits, abandoned small irrigation nets, drains, collectors, rice checks, irrigation, filtering fields, cotton and alfalfa fields.

In order to increase the effectiveness of the product used in heavily overgrown ponds, vegetation should be mowed, if possible. When treating reservoirs with dense vegetation or with water heavily contaminated with organic substances, the indicated dose can be doubled.

Do not process ponds of fishery importance, sources of drinking water, as well as reservoirs in the immediate vicinity of children's institutions that can be used for swimming. Do not process nesting sites and crowds of birds.

In exceptional cases, in the presence of active foci of malaria, continuous treatment of all water bodies is allowed, both in the settlement and in the 3-kilometer zone around it.

Repeated use is recommended when the pre-mosquito stages of mosquitoes appear in water bodies.

To combat the imago of endophilic mosquitoes, places of possible planting and insect days are irrigated: the walls and ceilings of cellars, warehouses, storages, hangars, including premises for keeping animals, and the vegetation around them.

The working emulsion (0.05-0.1% by DW at a consumption rate of 100 ml / m2) is applied uniformly, without gaps, to the machined surfaces using equipment, starting from the depth of the structure towards the exit.

The following are subject to processing: ceilings and walls of residential and non-residential premises, wall niches, undersides of canopies, shelves, tables, beds, trestle beds and feeding troughs for cattle, firebox of domestic stoves and the reverse side of the furniture standing near the walls.

Attention!
The upper corners of rooms and wall niches - places of accumulation of mosquitoes - are especially carefully processed. Before processing, it is necessary to remove the cobwebs covering the surfaces to be processed (corners). We will not allow the passage of premises, especially those where there are potential hosts for mosquitoes (bedrooms, barns, chicken coops, shelters for livestock).

The fight against the imaginal stages of endophilic populations of malaria mosquitoes is achieved by barrier (covering the neighborhoods adjacent to water bodies) and focal (individual sample sites) treatments. Depending on local conditions, the treatment is carried out 2-4 times a year.

Depending on the epidemiological indications, the fight against adults of endophilic malaria mosquitoes is carried out by continuous, barrier and selective (micro-focal) treatment of the internal and external surfaces of the walls of buildings.

During continuous processing in the client's facility, all residential and non-residential buildings, including premises for pets and pigsties of subsidiary farms, are treated with insecticides.

Continuous treatment reduces the total number of mosquitoes while reducing the physiological age of females. Continuous treatment is carried out in villages where, during the current and previous years, malaria diseases were recorded among the population.

Barrier processing is used to protect large settlements from mosquitoes flying into them from vast breeding areas located outside the village. In this treatment, the premises located in the front rows of houses on the summer path of mosquitoes to the village are exposed. Water treatment inside the village is required.

Selective (micro-focal) treatment is aimed at destroying mosquitoes located in rooms where a fresh case of malaria was detected, and in neighboring rooms (residential and non-residential). During the epidemic season, the main point of selective processing is to destroy mosquitoes that have had time to drink blood on a sick person.

In some cases, in the fight against semi-exophilic and exophilic mosquitoes, external surfaces are treated. In this case, the shadow sides of the walls, fences up to a height of 1.5 m are treated, especially if there is vegetation near them, as well as the lower side of the roofs hanging over the walls.

Important!
The coastal vegetation of the non-economic water bodies mentioned above is treated with 0.05% (in terms of DW) of an aqueous emulsion at a flow rate of 50-100 ml / m2 or mowed. Processing of objects in the open air should be carried out with a favorable weather forecast (no precipitation) for the next 3 days.

If you find diaries in natural shelters (caves, burrows, crevices in the soil or rocks, in vegetation or hollows of trees), it is necessary to process them with a product and especially carefully treat anofelogenic ponds in foci of malaria.

It is advisable to resort to the destruction of adult imaginative mosquitoes using the MEDILIS-super tool only if there is strict entomological evidence for the existence of exophilic populations of an effective malaria carrier in the area.

When fighting against biting midges, they treat the same stations as against mosquitoes of the genus Aedes, as well as places for collecting liquid waste near livestock farms. They struggle with preimaginal stages and adults.

Biting midges develop in moist litter (temporary streams, puddles in water meadows, backwaters, swamps without bumps with a clay bottom, temporary ponds near taiga villages, puddles on livestock farms), the same methods are used against them as in the fight against mosquitoes and ticks.

After the processing of each object, the latter is marked with any clearly visible mark to avoid omissions and repeated processing of objects.

Repeated treatments are carried out according to entomological or epidemic indications.

The consumption of the product (concentrate) should not exceed 0.4 l / ha. Optimal for the destruction of the imago of mosquitoes and other components of the midge should be considered the consumption of concentrate 0.2-0.3 l / ha

Advice!
In the case of insufficient effectiveness of disinfestation before re-treatment, the reason is established: whether the habitats of the insects remained untreated, whether neighboring or adjacent water bodies and buildings were inhabited by mosquitoes, where they can penetrate, etc.

Destruction of larvae of mosquito-bells in closed reservoirs. When larvae are destroyed at breeding sites in closed reservoirs (flooded basements of houses, underground utilities, underground tunnels), 0.1% (LW) water emulsion is used at a rate of consumption of 30 ml / m2 of water surface.

Before processing the water surface must be cleaned of debris and determine its area. In the basement, divided into separate compartments (sections), the water surface area is determined in each compartment and, accordingly, the necessary amount of funds is deposited.

Destruction of larvae of mosquito bells in natural stations. To prevent or reduce the departure of calls, processing in open natural non-economic reservoirs is carried out in the spring-summer period or in the fall (before winter).

Only the ground processing method is used, using a 0.1% water emulsion in the DV at a flow rate of 50-100 ml / m2, spraying with coarse equipment.

Non-economic non-flowing natural and artificial reservoirs of permanent and temporary existence — wetlands, puddles, relief depressions, lowland, floodplain, upland bogs, backwaters in small riverbeds that dry up in summer, reserves along roads, irrigators, digging pits, ditches, ditches, quarries, are subject to treatment. , trenches, pits, abandoned small irrigation nets, drains, collectors.

Do not process ponds of fishery importance, sources of drinking water, as well as reservoirs in the immediate vicinity of children's institutions that can be used for swimming. Do not process nesting sites and crowds of birds.

Precautions While Using The Drug

Persons under 18 years of age, pregnant and lactating women, and also persons who are contraindicated in contact with pesticides are not allowed to work with the product. Respiratory organs should be protected with universal respirators RU-6OM or RPG-67 with brand “A” cartridge; eyes with hermetic glasses; skin of hands - with gloves with a film coating or rubber technical gloves.

    Processing clothes (outerwear, bedding) should be carried out outdoors or in a well-ventilated area of at least 15 m2 in the absence of people, pets, food;

    When soaking laundry, use containers with tight-fitting lids.

    Underwear and bedding (sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers) after treatment (disinsection) are thoroughly rinsed (at least 2 times), then soaked for 1 hour in a hot (80-850C) soap-soda solution (1 tablespoon of soda ash and 5 g of laundry soap per 1 liter of water), after which they are washed in the usual way; machine washable.

    At the end of work, ventilate the room until the smell of the product disappears (at least 30 minutes).

    Processed things are used only after drying and thorough ventilation in the open air (during the day).

    When processing rooms against lice and scabies mites

    Persons who process rooms are required to wear work clothing: a bathrobe (or overalls), a hat. Protect respiratory organs with universal respirators RU-6OM or RPG-67 with brand “A” cartridge; eyes with hermetic glasses; skin of hands - with gloves with a film coating or rubber technical gloves.

    Important!
    The treatment is carried out in rooms where pediculosis and scabies patients are examined (sanitary inspection rooms, insulators, scabiosories, reception departments of hospitals), treating the floor, chairs, door handles and other objects that patients could have contact with. Work is carried out in the absence of people (patients).

    The floor is irrigated from apparatus such as “Quasar” or “Dewdrop”, giving a coarse aerosol. Other surfaces are wiped with a rag moistened with an aqueous emulsion, taking into account the consumption rate.

    Processing of premises is carried out at the end of the reception of patients in the absence of people. After 30 minutes (exposure time), the room is cleaned in the usual way with the addition of soda ash (1 tablespoon per 1 liter of water).Cleaning can be carried out the next day before the appointment of patients.

    When processing surfaces against flightless insects and ticks

    Processing of premises should be carried out with open windows (windows), in the absence of people, pets, birds, aquariums should be tightly covered or removed.

    When processing the workshops of industrial enterprises and other premises, pre-clean and carefully cover products that can adsorb the drug (especially food).

    Processing in child care facilities, in hospitals, in the food industry, in stores, canteens, etc. should be carried out on sanitary or weekends. In residential, office premises, dormitories, pest control is carried out in the morning.

    The room after treatment should be well ventilated for at least 30 minutes (until the smell disappears). After disinfection no later than 2 hours before using the facility for its intended purpose, wet cleaning of the premises is carried out.

    Cleaning is carried out with gloves, using a soda solution (50 g of soda ash per 1 liter of water), removing the product from all surfaces that people or food products may come into contact with (surfaces of work tables, cabinets, shelves, window sills, etc.).

    In places where there is no danger of contact (behind skirting boards, pipes, furniture), surfaces are cleaned after the death of all insects or the expiration of the product.

    Advice!
    After completing work at the facility, wash your hands, face and other exposed areas of the body, rinse your mouth and nasopharynx with water. At the end of the shift, take a shower.

    After work, overalls are removed and aired. Wash as it gets dirty, but at least once a week in a hot soda solution (50 g of soda ash per bucket of water).

    Personal protective equipment is stored in separate cabinets in a special room. It is strictly forbidden to store them in a warehouse together with pesticides, in other working rooms of disinfection facilities or at home.

    The administration is obliged to ensure regular disinfection, washing of work clothes. Washing clothes in workrooms (outside the laundry room) is strictly prohibited.
