Pharmacological properties

Deltamethrin, which is part of the drug, belongs to the group of synthetic pyrethroids and has a pronounced insecticaricidal intestinal and contact effect. It is active against sarcoptoid, ixodid and chicken ticks, bed bugs, downy eaters, lice, fleas, flies, horseflies, mosquitoes and other ectoparasites of animals.

According to the degree of exposure to the body, deltsid belongs to moderately hazardous substances (hazard class 3 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in the recommended doses they do not have a local irritant, resorptive-toxic and sensitizing effect. Application procedure

Deltsid is used for the treatment of sheep, cattle, pigs, rabbits and dogs with arachno-entomoses, as well as for the disinsection and deacarization of livestock buildings and other objects of veterinary supervision.

A working emulsion is prepared immediately before use under the supervision of a veterinarian or veterinarian. At the same time, the volume of the emulsion required for processing and the amount of Delcide required for its preparation are determined.

Before processing the sheep should be kept on a starvation diet for at least 10 hours, and 2 hours before processing the animals must be fed. After shearing, sheep are bathed no earlier than 3 days later. Lambs under the age of 1 month are bathed separately from adult animals.

Bathing is carried out in dry weather at an air temperature of at least 12 ° C and a bucket emulsion of 15-20 ° C. Duration of bathing sheep - 50-60 seconds with the obligatory short-term immersion of the head.

After exiting the bath, the sheep are left for 10-15 minutes in a special area with a sludge well for draining the emulsion and then distilled into the pen.

In case of sifunculosis and bovikoliasis, cattle are treated by full-volume spraying of 0.03% ad. (0.0012% DV) twice with an interval of 7-10 days at the rate of 1.5-3 liters per animal.

Pigs are sprayed during sarcoptosis (the auricles are especially carefully treated) 0.125% (0.005% DV), with hematopinosis - 0.03% (0.0012% DV) C.E. Delcide twice with an interval of 7-10 days, with a consumption rate of 0.5-1.0 liters per animal.

Spraying of animals is carried out at special sites with sludge wells using spraying devices that provide full-volume spraying (DUK, shower chambers, backpack sprayers).

Dogs with entomoses (lice, fleas, lice-eaters) and sarcoptosis are sprayed with 0.125% (0.005% DV) C.E. Delcide from an unpropellent balloon of the Rosinka type against growth of wool, avoiding getting the drug on the mucous membranes with a flow rate of 5-10 ml / kg of mass.

The treatment is carried out twice, taking into account the development cycle of parasites, at an air temperature in the house of 15-20 ° C - with an interval of 10-20 days, at a temperature above 20 ° C - with an interval of 5-8 days.

1 hour after treatment, the room is ventilated for at least 1 hour, the dead ectoparasites are swept away and disposed of, the feeders and drinkers are thoroughly washed and after that the bird is placed in the room.

It is allowed to process the premises in the presence of a bird, without violating the technological regime. In this case, no more than 2/3 of the total area of ​​the premises is sprayed. Processing is carried out with running ventilation or open doors, poultry and equipment are not processed.

Supply ventilation for the processing period (30-40 minutes) is turned off. Attendants are allowed into the room no earlier than 30 minutes after processing.

Before disinsection, the remains of feed, water, dairy equipment are preliminarily removed from the premises, and milking equipment is covered with plastic wrap.
