deltsid in ampoules how to breed
Deltsid in ampoules how to breed

Greetings! We lived many years ago near Tver, our economy, friendly neighbors. Our neighbors decided once to start breeding rabbits.

We bought a couple of animals, arranged an aviary for them. But after some time they noticed that the rabbits had parasites that got over to the soft wool from a stray cat, often walking around the aviary.

Then a deltsid went into action. All about how to breed deltsid in ampoules, read in today's article.

Instructions for use of the drug Delcid for the fight against ectoparasites of animals

The shelf life of the drug subject to storage conditions is 2 years from the date of manufacture. Delcid should not be used after expiration date.

Pharmacological properties

Deltamethrin, which is part of the drug, belongs to the group of synthetic pyrethroids and has a pronounced insecticaricidal intestinal and contact effect. It is active against sarcoptoid, ixodid and chicken ticks, bed bugs, downy eaters, lice, fleas, flies, horseflies, mosquitoes and other ectoparasites of animals.

The mechanism of action of deltamethrin is based on blocking the neuromuscular transmission of nerve impulses at the level of ganglions of peripheral nerves, which leads to paralysis and death of parasites.

According to the degree of exposure to the body, deltsid belongs to moderately hazardous substances (hazard class 3 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in the recommended doses they do not have a local irritant, resorptive-toxic and sensitizing effect. Contact with mucous membranes causes slight irritation. Toxic to fish and bees.

Application procedure

Deltsid is used for the treatment of sheep, cattle, pigs, rabbits and dogs with arachno-entomoses, as well as for the disinsection and deacarization of livestock buildings and other objects of veterinary supervision.

Advice!
Animals are treated by spraying or bathing in swimming baths.

A working emulsion is prepared immediately before use under the supervision of a veterinarian or veterinarian. At the same time, the volume of the emulsion required for processing and the amount of Delcide required for its preparation are determined.

The required volume of Delcide is thoroughly mixed with 2-3 volumes of water, and then poured into a floating bath with water or the tank of the spraying device, adding water to the required volume with stirring.

Sheep with psoroptosis is bathed in swimming baths or containers specially adapted for these purposes, using 0.125% (0.005% DV) water emulsion (CE) of Delcide for therapeutic purposes twice with an interval of 10-14 days, for the purpose of prevention - once.

Before processing the sheep should be kept on a starvation diet for at least 10 hours, and 2 hours before processing the animals must be fed. After shearing, sheep are bathed no earlier than 3 days later. Lambs under the age of 1 month are bathed separately from adult animals.

Bathing is carried out in dry weather at an air temperature of at least 12 ° C and a bucket emulsion of 15-20 ° C. Duration of bathing sheep - 50-60 seconds with the obligatory short-term immersion of the head.

After exiting the bath, the sheep are left for 10-15 minutes in a special area with a sludge well for draining the emulsion and then distilled into the pen.
As the emulsion decreases (removes) the working emulsion in the bath by 12-15%, it is refilled to the initial level using 0.2% (0.008% by Far East) of century BC the drug.

After three or fourfold refueling of the bath or after completion of the sheep’s treatments, the emulsion remaining in the bath is poured into the sump wells, avoiding environmental pollution, the bath is cleaned of dirt, washed with water and prepared for subsequent operation.

Cattle against blood-sucking dipterans insects (gnats) and pasture flies are treated with a volumetric spray of 0.025% (0.001% by Far East) C.E. Deltsida at the rate of 0.5-1.0 liters per animal (depending on weight) or by low-volume spraying 0.125% (0.005% by Far East) C.E. with a consumption rate of 50-100 ml per animal.

Attention!
Spraying is carried out using a horizontal spray universal boom (SHGRU) installed in the gates of summer pens or other spraying devices that provide small drop spraying.

The processing time is determined depending on the dominant components of the gnat and meteorological conditions: with a high number of horseflies and midges, animals are treated after morning milking, and with a high number of mosquitoes and midges, after evening milking once a day.

With a moderate abundance of midges, treatment is carried out every 2-3 days, and with an attack of only pasture flies - every 7-10 days. In rainy and cold weather animals are not processed.

Milking cows in the regimes recommended for protection against midges and pasture flies are allowed to be treated with Delcid no later than 7-8 hours before the next milking.

In sarcoptoidosis (scabies), cattle are treated by full-volume spraying of 0.125% (0.005% DV) C.E. from the calculation of 1.5-3.0 liters per animal (depending on weight) for therapeutic purposes twice with an interval of 10-14 days, for prophylactic purposes - once.

In case of sifunculosis and bovikoliasis, cattle are treated by full-volume spraying of 0.03% ad. (0.0012% DV) twice with an interval of 7-10 days at the rate of 1.5-3 liters per animal.

Pigs are sprayed during sarcoptosis (the auricles are especially carefully treated) 0.125% (0.005% DV), with hematopinosis - 0.03% (0.0012% DV) C.E. Delcide twice with an interval of 7-10 days, with a consumption rate of 0.5-1.0 liters per animal.

Spraying of animals is carried out at special sites with sludge wells using spraying devices that provide full-volume spraying (DUK, shower chambers, backpack sprayers).

Important!
For treating rabbits with psoroptosis with a swab dipped in 0.125% (0.005% DV) C.E. treat the inner surface of each auricle and then, folding it along and in half, lightly massage the base for a more complete treatment of the entire surface of the ear and ear canal. Processing is carried out twice with an interval of 7-10 days.

Dogs with entomoses (lice, fleas, lice-eaters) and sarcoptosis are sprayed with 0.125% (0.005% DV) C.E. Delcide from an unpropellent balloon of the Rosinka type against growth of wool, avoiding getting the drug on the mucous membranes with a flow rate of 5-10 ml / kg of mass.

The treatment is carried out with sarcoptosis 2-3 times with an interval of 7-10 days until the clinical recovery of the animal, confirmed by two negative results of acarological studies, with entomoses - according to indications.

In order to prevent flea breeding and re-infestation, the animals are replaced with litter or they are treated with 0.125% (0.005% DV) Delcide at the rate of 10 ml / m2 surface. Within 3 days, the animal is not allowed to come into contact with the treated litter, and then it is washed with a detergent before subsequent use.

Spraying is carried out outdoors (at a temperature not lower than 15 ° C) or in well-ventilated rooms with open windows (windows).

To prevent licking of the drug, animals are muzzled or jaws closed with a loop from the braid, which is removed 15-20 minutes after treatment. Within 10-12 hours after treatment, the dog should not be stroked and kept away from small children.

Before mass treatment, each series of Delcid is preliminarily tested on a small group of animals (7-10 animals) of different fatness. In the absence of complications in animals within 48 hours, they begin processing the entire livestock.

It is not allowed to use Delcid for the treatment of weakened and exhausted animals, as well as females later than 2 weeks before birth.

Advice!
Slaughter for meat of cattle, sheep and pigs is allowed no earlier than 15 days, rabbits - no earlier than 3 days after the last treatment with Delcid. In the case of forced slaughter of animals earlier than the deadline, the meat can be used for animal feed or for processing to meat and bone meal.

Milk of dairy cows treated in regimes against sarcoptoid ticks and lice is allowed to be used for food purposes no earlier than 3 days after treatment with Delcid. Milk obtained before the expiration of the specified period can be used after heat treatment to feed fur animals.

Milk of dairy cows treated with Delcid in the regimes against the midges and pasture flies is allowed to be used for food purposes without restrictions.

Disinfestation and decontamination of poultry facilities against bed bugs, argas, chicken ticks and cockroaches is carried out in the absence of poultry during a technological break, using 0.125% (0.005% DV) c. e. Aerosol deltsida, with a consumption rate of 25-50 ml / m2 of the treated surface.

Spray walls, ceilings, pillars, marked trenches under the batteries of cells. Before processing, eggs are collected.

The treatment is carried out twice, taking into account the development cycle of parasites, at an air temperature in the house of 15-20 ° C - with an interval of 10-20 days, at a temperature above 20 ° C - with an interval of 5-8 days.

1 hour after treatment, the room is ventilated for at least 1 hour, the dead ectoparasites are swept away and disposed of, the feeders and drinkers are thoroughly washed and after that the bird is placed in the room.

Preparation of working solution for room treatment
Preparation of working solution for room treatment

It is allowed to process the premises in the presence of a bird, without violating the technological regime. In this case, no more than 2/3 of the total area of the premises is sprayed. Processing is carried out with running ventilation or open doors, poultry and equipment are not processed.

Supply ventilation for the processing period (30-40 minutes) is turned off. Attendants are allowed into the room no earlier than 30 minutes after processing.

Attention!
Against bestial flies, pest control of livestock buildings, fodder kitchens, artificial insemination points and other objects of veterinary surveillance apply 0.125% (0.005% DV) Deltsida by selective spraying of insect landing sites (windows, walls, doors, support beams, etc.) with a flow rate of 80-100 ml / m2 of the treated surface.

Before disinsection, the remains of feed, water, dairy equipment are preliminarily removed from the premises, and milking equipment is covered with plastic wrap. After 1-1.5 hours after treatment, the room is ventilated for at least 1 hour, the dead flies are swept away and disposed of, the feeders and drinkers are thoroughly washed, and then animals are placed in the room.

When using Delcide in accordance with this instruction, side effects and complications, as a rule, are not observed.

With increased individual sensitivity of animals to deltamethrin and the occurrence of side effects (refusal of feed, vomiting, edema, impaired coordination of movements), the use of the drug is stopped and desensitizing therapy is carried out.

Personal Prevention

When working with Delcid, the rules of personal hygiene and safety precautions provided for when working with medicines should be observed.

Each employee must be provided and obliged to use a set of protective clothing and personal protective equipment (dressing gown, hat, rubberized apron, rubber boots, goggles, dust mask, respirator F-62 (ШМ), "Astra-2", type "Petal-40 "." Petal-5 ").

To provide first aid, first-aid kits should be located in the work places, which replenish as you spend. During work, it is forbidden to smoke, drink or eat food.

The duration of work with Delcid should not exceed 6 hours a day. After work, overalls must be removed, wash your face and hands with warm water and soap, and rinse your mouth with water.

If Delcide gets on the skin or mucous membranes, it must immediately be washed off with a stream of water or removed with a swab and then washed off with water or a slightly alkaline solution. If Delcid entered the body through the mouth, give the victim several glasses of warm water with 8-10 tablets of activated charcoal or another adsorbent, and then a saline laxative.

Important!
If the workers show signs of poisoning (dizziness, general weakness, nausea), it is necessary to stop work, remove protective clothing, wash the face of the hand and consult a medical professional.

A container contaminated with Delcid is neutralized by filling it with a 3-5% solution of soda ash for 5-6 hours, and then washed with running water. The residues of Delcid are neutralized with a 5% solution of caustic alkali or an aqueous suspension of hydrated or bleach (1: 3) and poured into slurry wells.

Working emulsions, neutralized residues of Delcide and wash water after processing containers and protective clothing should not be drained in places close to water bodies and sources of drinking water. They are poured into sludge wells or into a pit to a depth of at least 5 m, located far from water sources and grazing areas, and bury.

The use of containers for domestic purposes is prohibited. Delcid should be stored out of the reach of children.

Reviews about the drug

Artyom: Cats CAN'T BE A DELCID! but the house is possible according to the instructions, the cat suffers from fleas - the apartment can be processed, runs without consequences after 3 hours. the cat itself is NOT! and in the instructions about cats, not a word by the way!

Elena: They treated the cat with delcid. all according to the instructions, the cat was very ill, fleas on the drum, both ran and run.

marisha: Yesterday turned to the vet clinic with a kitty. a combed crust resembling lichen appeared on the neck. The doctor said that they had bitten the fleas and prescribed us DELCID, dilute one ampoule of 400 ml. Water. First, wash the cat, then spray it from the pulley and rub it, rub it into the head and body, then rinse it off with a hairdryer ..

Spray the apartment, floors and rugs with a second ampoule. (Although everything is clean in our house) We did just that. after a couple of hours they noticed something strange with the cat .. the eyes were watery and foam went out of my mouth ...

OH GOD!!! by night, it was generally scary, saliva flowed out of her, her eyes flowed, she herself was twitching like a frantic one as in convulsions and falling off her place .. she behaved inappropriately! we realized that it was severe poisoning and could not do anything ... it was scary that she would die now ... it was already night, and we all did not know how to help her.

Important!
Found any tel. they called the round-the-clock veterinary clinic asking for help ... The doctor answered us that cats shouldn’t do this, urgently need to rinse the stomach and put a dropper.

This is a remedy for sheep, and the dosage is completely different. In short, she strained all her brains and began to do something. They gave her 1/4 suprastin, poured weak potassium permanganate into the mouth from the syringe and again carried all the rubbish into the bath to wash it off under the water .... wrapped it up and carried it all night like an infant.

It’s a little easier, like ... Today they ordered me to bring the cat back to the clinic ... but I'll go swear !! What kind of doctors! How could this be prescribed ?! Now she’s still afraid of everything, but it’s more calm and there’s no foam anymore ...

Why not warned? until I read everything about this drug at night, from hopelessness .... (not a single flea was found in her) We are in shock! and how we feel sorry for our Siri !!! poor thing suffered! we just went the second year. I don’t know what to do next?

a guest: for a long time as it handled a kitten, he began to lick the wool and then died ..

Olga: We treated two cats with delcid in order to prevent encephalitis tick bites and brought them into the house. Diluted according to the instructions and advice of a veterinarian (2 ml per 2 liters). With cats, everything is ok. Only with ticks, too, literally 4 hours after processing, both cats came with sucked ticks. The poor fellows now live on the veranda.

Bella: well, that did not die. how can animals be treated with such a drug? if only those whom you want to kill (if I recommend it for processing the premises, and then only to those who are expensive to use normal means. doctors who recommend treating cats with delcid would kill.

Ivan: We keep a lot of birds, and in the summer you always have to deal with the invasion of lice and fleas on the house. Chickens itch, peck their legs, gain weight poorly - in general, some problems. We have to rack their brains on how to help animals, and how exactly to effectively treat them.

Advice!
We tried different means, while we stopped on deltsida, we usually buy it with a margin, since it is suitable for treating poultry, and in order to clean and process the chicken coop itself, and it is no less important to bring parasites to the root.

We’re bathing the chickens in a solution, we dilute one ampoule of Delcid into a bucket of 10 liters, then each with paws deeply, dip it into the bucket along the neck. The main thing is to do it in warm and sunny weather so that the chickens have time to dry out. We spray the chicken coop with a richer solution - 2 ampoules per 12 liters.

It is better to do this in the morning, so that there is time to ventilate the premises before spending the night in it a bird. In addition, basins with sand and sulfur are placed in the courtyard so that the bird bathes in this mixture - also one of the ways to destroy lice.

Victor: I was processing a dog house with deltsidom - I have a small yard, and recently earthen fleas appeared from somewhere. At first I thought it was fleas from a dog, bought special drops and instilled them. After a few days, I watch that the dog continues to itch, and when I myself was near the booth, I noticed how small black fleas were jumping on the foot - animals do not have such.

It turned out that these are earthen fleas, and they live mainly in the room, so it is impossible to bring them out with drops to the withers. In addition, these fleas can bite not only animals, but also people, so they must be disposed of.

Then I bought Deltsid drops in the store, they go both for the premises and for animals. I diluted 1 ampoule into 0.5 liters of water and with the help of a sprayer I thoroughly processed the booth, in addition, I took another ampoule, diluted it into 1.5 liters. water and thoroughly moistened the dog itself with this solution.

After 10 days, I again processed the booth and since then the dog does not itch, and I do not see these fleas anymore. The drug is very effective, in addition, it is not expensive and quite affordable. Of course, it does not smell too nice, but for the treatment of courtyards and booths it is a very good and effective tool.

With increased individual sensitivity of animals to deltamethrin and the occurrence of complications (excessive salivation, muscle tremors, vomiting), treatment is stopped, the drug is washed off with detergent and the animal is prescribed antihistamines and symptomatic therapy.

In this case, further use of the drug is stopped and desensitizing therapy is carried out.

Storage

Store the drug in the manufacturer's packaging, in a place protected from direct sunlight, at a temperature of 0 to 30 ° C.

Features of Delcide and its mechanism of action on parasites

The insecticidal agent Delcid is produced in ampoules, bottles and cans of various volumes containing 4% solution of deltamethrin pyrethroid. To treat the premises or animals, the drug is diluted to the desired concentration, after preparation, spraying is carried out as soon as possible until the insecticide remains active.

Advice!
Flea deltsid has a pronounced effect, leading to the rapid death of insects and their larvae.

For treating dogs, 1 ampoule of the drug is enough: a 0.125% solution is prepared from the drug and the animal's coat is sprayed with diluted Delcid in the calculation of 5-10 ml per kg of mass. For the room 3.75 ml of the product is diluted in a liter of water: 25 ml is enough to disinfect a square meter of the room.

Deltamethrin has an insecticaricidal effect. It destroys not only fleas, lice, water-eaters, the substance also effectively fights ticks, flies and horseflies. Insects are affected by contact with the drug or if it enters the intestine, blocking neuromuscular transmission causes death of parasites.

The recommended dose of pyrethroid deltamethrin does not harm warm-blooded animals and humans. The substance poses a threat to bees and fish. Delcid is classified as hazard class 3 due to moderate toxicity.

How to handle the room

For small rooms, it is enough to dilute the ampoule with water. Flea deltsid in an apartment of a large area or in a house is best purchased in a bottle with a large amount of content.

The drug in an open bottle retains effectiveness for up to 6 months when stored properly. The product should be out of the reach of children and kept away from sunlight, out of contact with food.

After dilution with water and stirring for 20 minutes, a white emulsion is obtained. The solution is placed in a spray bottle or container with a sprayer and used in the processing of the premises. The best results in the fight against parasites can be achieved by knowing how to process an apartment from fleas with Delcid:

  • Before disinfection, carry out cleaning - vacuum, wash all surfaces.
  • After treatment, Delcid is not washed off for 2 weeks.
  • The furniture is pushed away from the walls before spraying, since skirting boards, room corners, and cracks along the walls need careful processing.
  • Spray the diluted product at a distance of 20 cm from the surface.
  • It is recommended to protect the mouth or nose with a mask or a respirator, the spray gun should be held in an outstretched hand, it is better to wear rubber gloves and a protective suit. After processing the apartment, hands should be washed thoroughly with soap and clothes.
  • When processing, they pay special attention to the place where the pet is sleeping. Treatment of the animal is carried out simultaneously with the disinsection of the premises using a solution of delcide or other flea control drugs.
  • When processing surfaces, it should be borne in mind that fleas can jump to a height of 1.5 meters.

For the period of disinfestation and for an hour after it, the windows and doors of the room are left closed. Then ventilate for at least 2 hours. It is recommended that the owners and the pet leave the room after processing it for a while.

Attention!
Immediately after the procedure, wet cleaning is carried out only on those surfaces with which contact with hands is possible. Often it is enough to apply once Deltsid from fleas in the apartment - user reviews confirm the high effectiveness of the drug.

With a large number of insects, it may be necessary to re-treat after 2 weeks.

Dog Handling

The drug can be used for prophylactic purposes and in the treatment of dogs for fleas. The product is diluted with water on the eve of use to a concentration of 0.125%.After 2 weeks, another spray is carried out to destroy fleas that emerged from the surviving eggs.

During the treatment, you need to take care of your safety and protect the animal from the toxic effects of the drug. To do this, consider the following recommendations:

  • the coat should be sprayed against growth on the entire surface, trying not to get into the nose, mouth, eyes;
  • after treatment, you can’t pet the pet, let children in for 2 hours;
  • bathe the dog 2 days after treatment.

After using Delcide, the dog may experience apathy, increased salivation, and tremors. If symptoms are severe or persist for a long time, contact your veterinarian. Drink plenty of alcohol to help reduce intoxication.

Flea deltsid, reviews of the use of which can be found on the Internet, are often used to process the premises. For the treatment of animals, many prefer drops to the withers, collar or spray.

Flea deltsid in the apartment: instructions for use, price and reviews

Fleas are parasitic insects that do not have special preferences, choosing their place of deployment. As for humans and animals, this is absolutely not a pleasant neighborhood, which brings a lot of unpleasant sensations.

Important!
To get rid of fleas quickly and for a long time, many manufacturers of modern drugs offer. One of such domestic highly effective means against fleas is Delcid, which copes with a number of parasitic insects.

Delcid is an insecticaricidal agent for animals, presented in the form of a concentrated emulsion, exclusively for external use. This product is used to treat not only animals, but also disinsect and deacarize livestock buildings.

Dezacarization - the destruction of parasitic ticks. Pest control is an action aimed at the destruction, disinfection of parasitic insects. This drug is convenient to use and quite effective.

The drug is presented in the form of an oily, fairly clear liquid, yellow-brown in color. After mixing with warm water, the emulsion acquires a persistent white color.

It belongs to the group of synthetic pyrethroids - unsystematic lipophilic substances that are localized in the skin and sebaceous glands.

Such drugs do not have the ability to accumulate in the body, which is their significant advantage, repeatedly entering the body, do not have toxic effects on it.

The composition and effect of the drug

At the heart of the drug Delcid is a contact action insecticide. The main active substance is the deltamethrin insecticide - 4% (second generation pyrethroid). Deltamethrin is practically insoluble in water, organic solvents are used to prepare solutions.

As excipients, Delcid includes:

Reviews about the drug

Eugene, 39 years old: “In the apartment, as my neighbors already told me, fleas got from the basement. It turns out that they can simply be brought with shoes. They bite terribly, and my cat, who has never been on the street, also combed pretty well. They rushed to check when the cat had wounds, everyone could not believe that this was possible.

Delcid helped with the first treatment. But the cat’s coat is very thick, I’ll definitely process it again. I didn’t process the apartment, although I worry, maybe it was necessary. But I’m satisfied with the result so far. ”

Victoria Semenovna, 24 years old: “Fleas settled in chickens. The neighbors say that it’s normal for them, nothing is scary. But the veterinary pharmacy suggested what to process, this is our drug Delcid, and that this should be done as soon as possible.

Ostensibly, the productivity of the bird will decrease, because for her this is an abnormal condition. My husband and I processed the chicken coop again, too. There is nothing complicated. And hens, they’ve become fluffy, I think they really need this. ”

Maria Viktorovna, 73 years old: “With a dog, I walk outside regularly, fleas are normal for us. My son came to me on vacation and advised Delcid, said that for the prevention of harm and harm, even a small dog will not. Six months as my Nick don’t know what fleas are, I’m very pleased. ”
